The Countryside Area’s Ring features a variety of different demonstrations and displays throughout the day. From Ferret Racing to Gun Dog Displays and Falconry, the Countryside Area of the Show is not to be missed. There will be opportunities to meet the demonstrators, have a go at fly fishing as well as saying hello to ferrets too.
Every year our Main Ring holds some amazing events to keep all visitors to the show enthralled and entertained.
As well as our Horse Competitions, Grand Parade of Prize Winning Animals, Vintage/Classic Car & Tractor, 2025 brings the amazing Jump Dogs Parachute Display Team and Jamie Squibb Freestyle Stunt Team to name a few.
Visit the Woodland Arena which is a great spot to see traditional craftsmen at work. The craftsmen in this area are happy to talk about their craft and skills..
Children will love the stunning fairground rides... From a vintage helter skelter to hook a duck, tin can alley, galloping horses merry go round, tea cups, bouncy castles all shapes and sizes and Punch n Judy show, there’s plenty to keep the children amused and having fun.
Agriculture is at the heart of the Brecon County Show and supporting and celebrating farming is an integral part of what we do.
There are a range of events to enjoy over the course of the show, many of which are hosted by our partner agencies. With guest speakers delivering talks on everything from rural crime prevention to innovation and supportive farming charities, there really is something for everyone.
There’s also top quality livestock in competition and the Grand Parade in the Main Ring is a sight not to be missed.
Over at the machinery lines, there’s the latest in agricultural technology from tractors to every farming implement in between.
